‘Evil’ Florida Man with Meth Problem Allegedly Killed Teen Son with Angle Grinder Power Tool

A grandfather’s worst nightmare became a reality when he returned to his Florida home and found his son outside who told him, “I wouldn’t go in there if I were you. I killed someone.” Thomas Rodda went inside and discovered his grandson, 16-year-old Stephen Lee Rodda, had been murdered. The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said 37-year-old Stephen Thomas Rodda, who has a problematic history with meth abuse, allegedly kill his own son with an angle grinder power tool. “We’ve got an evil, evil man in custody, and we’re going to do our best to see that he spends the rest of his life in prison,” Sheriff Grady Judd said in a press conference.
