Hey there! In today's video, I'm collabing with my best friend and sister @notyourbasicsteph! Always such a pleasure to collab with the other half of my heart. We each have the Badass Beauties Field Op palette in common and will be creating eye looks with the palette. This is a US indie brand that I've been a big fan of for the past couple of years. @scotzmnswifelast year I enjoyed this video so much & hearing your answers to the questions surrounding the theme. I love that you mentioned Harriet Tubman, as I find her life to be such an extraordinary example of strength & the power to overcome seemingly impossible circumstances. She was truly a most remarkable woman. Ironically, I recently watched a biographical film about her called “Harriet” made in 2019 after a recommendation from a friend, & it was excellent in conveying how amazing she was & all she was able to achieve particularly despite the chronic physical issues she had to navigate. I’ve always been very impressed by the role her strong faith in God played in her life’s successes as well & her consistency in being vocal about His guidance throughout. People like her, & other women in present day who share in the task of navigating chronic illness like Steph, our friend Marina, & you with your spinal issues, inspire me so much to keep going & not let my own physical limitations get me down as much as they might potentially otherwise. I think it’s fantastic that we can all inspire & encourage one another which definitely falls into the definition/criteria you gave of what it means to be a badass. It’s lifting up others even when one might be down physically or mentally themselves, & it comes from a place of care & selflessness. I always pray, hope, & aspire to be in that category for others. ❤❤❤ And yes, Leorah is one that I’ve always thought fits the BA criteria for sure! 😎👍 Who else can wrangle 7 children & 4 dogs, rock some big lashes & colorful eye looks, & tell it like it is, all with genuine kindness & the sweetness of honey?! 😇💕 I love you both to pieces! 😘💖🥰❤️🩷💜 ... 1

@taramisu9978last year Great video! One thing about being older that's refreshing is that you don't care what people think anymore. It's quite nice. And aging gracefully I think is pretty bad@$$. People are so afraid to do that, I realize that I need to invest in better skincare now that I am 50 but I still think that I look okay. If people don't like how I look, too bad! I would like to master my basic looks too but I feel myself going with even simpler looks which is okay. Very nice eye look as always and purty nails too! 😄 ... 1
