He put it on his finger and wished that everything he touched would turn into gold. To his amazement, the wish came true! The king's chair, shoes, and many other objects turned into shiny gold. Filled with greed, the king couldn't resist using the ring's power to turn more and more things into gold. His palace soon became a dazzling place of gold, but he was still not satisfied. One fateful day, while the king was busy turning normal objects into gold, his beloved Princess came to see him. Overwhelmed by his greed, the king accidentally touched her, and she turned into gold before his eyes! He realized the consequences of his actions and felt immense sorrow for what he had done. Feeling remorseful and desperate to save his beloved daughter, the king hurried back to the old man.
