Goalondo steamer curry | Bangladeshi chicken recipe

This simple, pure yet delicious dish draws its significance from the name itself. This chicken curry was accidentally invented by the boatmen ferrying people or goods on steamers across the river Padma from the Indian side to Goalondo ghat in Bangladesh. Hence the name is Goalondo steamer curry. Please try this easy & simple recipe at least once at home. Ingredients:- Chicken drumsticks 5 ( you can use any piece you want ) Potatoes 8 small sized ( lightly fried ) Onions 3 to 4 big sized ( roughly chopped ) Ginger 3 tbsp ( finely chopped ) Garlic 3 tbsp ( finely chopped ) Garlic cloves 10 to 12 ( or as per your preference ) Turmeric powder 1tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder 1/2 tbsp ( optional ) Whole red chillies 7 to 8 ( crushed or you can chop it with a scissor ) Green chillies 7 to 8 or as per your taste ( chopped ) Salt to taste Mustard oil 5 to 6 tbsp ( or as per your preference ) Thanks for watching my videos.
