Please join me as I kayak up and down the river in search of animal curiosities like turtle shells and historical relics like Civil War relics. Toward the end of the day, a thunderstorm rolls in and I had to scoot.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my Youtube "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, https://www.facebook.com/chiggsarmy/ ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

@davidfish5913 years agoThat was great! We don’t need gold coins everyday. Thanks for a fine day out on the river. 4
@

@patricialenaburg65533 years agoLove it when you find something, but I would watch you anyway, your a hoot. I bet you forgot the turtle shell, but did you check on that man, hope all he got was a sunburn. 1
@
@mikemaxwell8033 years agoEnjoy all of the videos and thanks for sharing. The rain storm ruined the day but I bet it saved a drunk dude's skin. Glad you lay the pick on it's side too. 3

@
@etexshooter31663 years agoWell, was the strange guy by the river dead, alive or gone? Did you remember to check? Probably a crabby old hermit! 6
@
@SooperCherry943 years agoI love your videos, Aquaman. My family owned a farm where part of the battle of Resaca, GA took place. They found spent balls in the creek and used them for fishing weights for years. 6
@
@sonnypate68083 years agoGet the piece you threw back in with that 330 conibear. It's a stand to hold the trap on. You push the two prongs into the mud and it will set the trap up in front of a hole or a beaver run. .☮️👍 12
@
@robertfarmer83723 years agoAwesome hunt! I'm headed to a spot in West Virginia tomorrow that I just got permission for. Fair amount of Civil War action there. Wish me luck! 9
@
@aaronfavre68633 years agoOK two quick questions. Is the guy in the bank alive? And whatever happened to the aluminum boat you had made? Thanks Chigg 13
@
@MrJudder4133 years agoWhen you heard the pops between in the left corner of the screen about shoulder level you can see either an very fast bug or projectile. People take a look. ...4

@
@davidraines28733 years agoChig that spencer cartridge was a cool find. Too bad there wasn’t a pocket full of them. I do remember you finding a good hand full of them lying on bedrock in a creek. Nice video brother 16

@
@markcarson18443 years agoThanks Chigg, great show. Stay well too.
@
@Aquabob13 years agoThat looked like a 330 Conibear for Beaver and Otter. The metal item with it is a support, to hold the trap up in a slide or run, where there is no natural things to support it. Should definitely be set with a trap setting tool. ...1
@
@MrScrappity3 years agoOn the way back up river, drop that squatter some Cheetos and Dews. He'll be alright 😁 1
@
@JChuckVlogs3 years agoPretty awesome stuff you do. Much respect.
@
@oldbamadirt21483 years agoi like the sharps to . had fun playing in the water it's hot down hear. 2
@
@whotknots3 years agoChig I wonder if the fact that the projectile on the intact Spencer cartridge you found is misaligned with the case could be the result of a misfeed from the magazine to the chamber because that would be a reason it was ejected and/or discarded in unfired condition. The amount of force required to cause such deformation to the cartridge could easily occur while it was being cycled from the tube magazine in the buttstock to the chamber and might also be indicative that the damage occurred during battle. This is because a soldier might have been trying to cycle the action on his weapon with urgency motivated by a life or death situation and we often don't know our own strength when the effects of adrenaline kick in. ...1

@dougalexander72043 years agoYou going back? Me and the wobbly kitten vote yes.

@
@jamesbarisitz47943 years agoThe buckles and lantern parts are interesting as it might be farm equipment or something military. The cartridge was the find of the day. ✌ 2

@
@valiantwarrior45178 months agoThe mystery bone looks like the rear portion of a bird skull. And the long narrow bone looks like a scapula. Maybe a wild turkey or goose or something.
@
@rednecksuburbanidiot32303 years agoWell that first find looks like someone had a idea once upon a time
@
@dawnconner61233 years agowhen we camped as kids w/ the fam, my parents used to dig a hole and bury the garbage. that was in the 1950s(yeah, im old). at the time i thought it was odd. even as a 6 yo.

@
@benjaminbell37243 years agoThe metal thing with the trap was a sign holder that pushes into the ground. Hopefully said there was a trap near by. 2

@
@trimbaker18933 years agoHi Chigg, That bone...the vertebrae looking one...I think it is the atlas bone. Not sure of species, I have one from a brown bear skeleton I found in Alaska. That bone holds the skull to the top of the spine. Ok, theres my two cents worth. ( large cents) Smiling, George. ...1
@
@lonniechartrand3 years agoAt that “H” stand was a stabilizer for the Conibear trap. I have used traps in worse shape than the one you found.

@
@mandograssable3 years agoI save tarpon shells from tarpons I find who have died in the woods and make jewelry boxes out of them. There are not nearly as many tarpons as there use to be. I have only found 2 loaded spencer cartridges since I have been hunting. I have found many more of the base cartridges and bottoms. ...
@
@Apoplectic_Spock3 years agoChigg, the dime looks tiny because of those big 'ol gloves! 😂
@
@philipatoz3 years agoThe last place I like to be is on a boat in the water during a lightening storm. Even away from trees, that boat is the highest object above the water, with you on top of it. We all know the chances of being hit are extremely low, but ya just don't wanna be "that guy" everyone reads about in the local paper! ...
@
@mrbriancnc3 years agoNice Spencer cartridge! Did you go back and check on that drunk/dead guy?
