Mutton Korma is a very famous, simple and tasty recipe made using marinated mutton along with various aromatic spices
METHOD
1.First we need to marinate mutton
Mutton with bones - 1/2 kilo
To this add
Yogurt - 200 gram
Ginger,garlic and coriander leaves paste - 3 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 3 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Kashmiri red chili powder - 2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - as required
Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes
2.In a pan heat oil - 3 tablespoon, to it add
Black peppercorns - 1/2 teaspoon
Cloves - 5
Cardamom - 3
Star anise - 1
Cinnamon sticks - 3
Black cardamom - 1
Mace - 1
Saute for a minute
3. Now add marinated mutton pieces and saute under high flame for 5 to 8 minutes, reduce flame and cook for 10 minutes
4. To this korma add
Fried and ground onions of - 2 big sized onions and mix well, cook for a minute
5. Add a cup of water and mix well, lower the flame and cook till mutton gets tender
6. Then add
Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon
Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Few chopped corainder leaves
Mix well and cook for a minute
7.Serve hot with pulao or roti or parota
