Please go subscribe her! /user/MacduffProd Couples: › Morwen & Hurin (fancast: Eva Green & Clive Standen) after their marriage, morwen of the house of bëor and hurin of the house of hador resided over dor-lómin as its lord and lady. they first had two children, túrin and lalaith, but their young daughter died of a plague-like sickness known as the evil breath. after that, hurin departed home to fight for fingon at the nirnaeth arnoediad (the battle of unnumbered tears). fingon lost and fell, and hurin was captured by morgoth and cursed. meanwhile, a pregnant morwen stayed in dor-lómin, sending her only surviving child túrin away to safety. later, she gave birth to a daughter named nienor. when nienor was grown, they left their home in search of túrin, who, unbeknownst to them, had made himself a hero. morwen never saw her son again, finding only the graves of her two remaining children. it was there that húrin saw her, having been released after the curse - the fall of his family - had been fulfilled. they spent the night together and morwen passed away with the sun. › Thranduil & Rhaweth (wife) (fancast: Rhona Mitra) › Celebrían & Elrond (fancast: Sarah Gadon) celebrían was the daughter of galadriel and celeborn. she first laid eyes on elrond when she travelled to rivendell with her mother - centuries later, he would become her husband, and she would birth their daughter arwen and the twins elladan and elrohir. all was well, until she was waylaid by orcs on her way to lórien more than two thousand years later. the capture and torture left not only a poisoned wound, but also vulnerated her mind and spirit so badly that she could not recover even when she had been rescued by her sons and physically healed by elrond. she did not wish to stay in middle earth any longer and passed over the great sea into the west very soon. › Elwing & Earendil (fancast: Alyssa Sutherland & Sam Claflin) › Idril & Tuor (fancast: Emilia Clarke & Tom Hopper/Iain Glen) idril celebrindal, daughter of turgon, fell in love with the human tuor when he first arrived in gondolin, where her father was lord. out of love for tuor’s father and in the memory of his last words, turgon allowed idril and tuor to wed, who became the second union of elves and men after beren and luthien. they had a son named eärendil. idril foresaw the fall of gondolin and encouraged her husband to build a secret passageway out of hidden city, which enabled many to escape when the city truly fell. they stayed in exile at the havens of sirion for a greater part of tuor’s life, until the sea-longing overtook him and he built a ship, which carried him and idril to valinor, as many believe. › Eol & Aredhel (fancast: Christopher Eccleston & Kristen Stewart) › Aegnor & Andreth (fancast: Harry Lloyd & Charlie Murphy) › Turin & Nienor (fancast: Kit Harington & Jessica Brown-Findlay/as children: Isaac Hempstead Wright & Raffey Cassidy) aegnor first saw andreth’s reflection in aluin, a clear mountain lake. the brother of galadriel and the human woman from the house of bëor fell deeply in love with each other, yet aegnor could not return her love as she would since for the eldar, marriage was forbidden in times of war. neither of them ever wed or had children, before he was slain in the dagor bregollach (the battle of sudden flame).
