Reaching over 10 million people worldwide, more than 1,500 street pianos have already been installed in over 50 cities across the globe, from London to New York, bearing the simple instruction Play Me, I’m Yours. Located on streets, in public parks, markets and train stations the pianos are temporarily available for everyone to play and enjoy. Play Me, I’m Yours invites the public to engage with, activate and take ownership of their urban environment. Decorated by local artists and community groups, our street pianos create a place of exchange and an opportunity for people to connect.

@nannabaz13 years ago Nice to see their own interpretation instead of being 100% technical, adds a new personality to the piece. Hardest technical is not always the nicest version of the piece being played. Awesome tinkling players! Love to see the front off the piano too, let's you feel what you are playing, best option for those on an upright. ... 13

@DKKim-vs7po7 years ago 4, 2 and 1 are all the same places.
There is Hongik book store in Shinchon, Korea. In front of that book store, that's where the piano is.
Many super cool talented pianists find that place and play piano regularly, mostly at evening time.
If you are in Korea and have times, go visit there. You'll see really wonderful performances.

@markfowlermusic7 years ago I'd say number 2 is harder (Chopin etude op10/1) and more technical than number 1 (Hungarian rhapsody no. 2) although it looks far more difficult it's actually not. Also number 1 should be the valentina listista lizst piece that was written in his youth, can't remember its name, but she championed it as it's far less known than the Hungarian rhapsdoies, but way harder to play, almost impossible at full tempo, el contrabandista I think it's called. ... 1094

@frankwaldeck23593 years ago This is amazing. My only wish would be that they could compose there own pieces that could incorporate their own creativity with their extraordinary talents. They are truly GREAT musicians and I hope they make an attempt at trying the more than difficult task of trying to compose something that will truly challenge each of their own abilities. This is how Mozart’s are created. I love classical music and the piano and each of you are capable of great things. The world still needs this art form weather it knows it or not. I would love to give a friendly challenge to each of you to try and write an original piece and challenge yourself in it. You are all capable of great things. Good luck in everything you attempt. ... 1
