Candace Owens reacted to a disturbing video that shows Steven Crowder warning his then-heavily pregnant wife Hilary to “f–king watch it” — while berating her for not following orders to do “wifely” duties. Owens called the footage "horrific" and "very difficult to watch... [Hilary] is alleging that he has been emotionally abusive to her and this video all but confirms it." "I personally believe that he is a monster," Owens continued; "Steven, if you're watching, I'm not trying to extort you. I am just simply telling the truth. There was a lot of things that are going on and I am glad that his wife found the strength to speak out. On February 24, 2023, a video was leaked from Steven Crowder's Ring home security camera system. The video shows Crowder and his wife, Yasmin, arguing about their divorce. The video quickly went viral, and Crowder has since apologized for his behavior. In the video, Crowder can be heard yelling at Yasmin and calling her names. He also makes threats to her, saying that he will "ruin her life." Yasmin is clearly upset and scared, and she tries to leave the room, but Crowder blocks her way. what sucks about all of this situation is how public it is and how the children can gain access to the info years later. Do they deserve to know the truth? Yes. It just depends when they should learn. Obviously this only applies to families that split up when the children are very young and have no real memories of being a family unit. Growing up during the abuse is a whole different matter and does not apply to this post.
i always cringe when i see parents who split up and then share very negative adult things about each other to their own children. There is a time and place but during a child' s development is not one of those times. Especially when the divorce has caused a parent to be somewhat or completely absent from their child' s life. There will be a time where the child will meet or reunite with their parent and it should be a blank slate to where they can form their own opinion. Children should not have to deal with adult subject matter, especially if its negative and coming from another parent.
there are exceptions to this, like if one parent is in prison for something that took place within the family and even then there is a place and time to be fully truthful
maybe it' s because i' ve been with people like this, maybe i' m hypervigilant, but i know an abusive person when i see one. He speaks in circles, shouts over her, gets more excited the more she starts to panick and become upset. She' s 8 months pregnant and that is how he treats her. Imagine how he treats her infront of the kids. Imagine how nasty he' d be while she' s trying to raise that baby all by herself. The way he says ' watch it' what does he mean? That seems like an established threat. She' s very used to this behaviour and i guarantee much, much, worse

also a reason i haven' t gotten it is they do literally crack your chest open it' s a grotesque procedure. You' d have to either be really insecure about it or have terrible blood flow to even consider it. I' m not surprised he had a lung collapse, the surgery is gnarly lol

now with that said assuming hes not lying crowder does have unrelated heart problems and its possible that his chest is exacerbating it. Doing some googling that is possible. And even if he is being honest, he still could have had it any day he wanted so its still bullshit anyway
